Teeth Whitening Experience
1. Consultation & Assessment
A full medical and dental history review, quick check of teeth and gums to ensure whitening is safe. We screen for cavities, gum disease, and front restorations. A recent dental cleaning is recommended.
2. Shade Check & Goals
We record your starting shade and discuss realistic expectations based on enamel, lifestyle, and natural tooth structure.
3. Gum Protection
Barriers are applied to protect the gums and soft tissues before any gel is placed. The isolation is a combination of using gauze, cotton rolls and liquidam, which is light cured to the gums to harden. This limits exposure of the whitening gel to the gum tissues.
4. Customized Gel Application
High quality gels are chosen specifically for your enamel, sensitivity level, and whitening goals. Each application is precise to avoid irritation.
5. Whitening Cycles
Usually 2–3 cycles of 12–15 min each under our state of the art Beyond Ultra 2 accelerating system. It uses ultrasonic technology which “enables the gels to target enamel more comprehensively in a shorter time frame”. The gel is refreshed between cycles to stay active while you relax comfortably. This is where you get to binge your fav series on Netflix, Prime, Hulu or Disney (we’ve got it all). Sourced from beyonddent.com.
6. Desensitizing Treatment
A fluoride free remineralizing gel is applied at the end to soothe sensitivity, strengthen enamel, and lock in results.
7. Final Shade Reveal
Most clients see a 4–6+ shade improvement in one session depending on starting colo8r and enamel.
The service includes 2-3 rounds, with the gel removed and reapplied each time.

What to Expect After Treatment

Some clients feel temporary tingles or cold sensitivity for up to 24-48 hours. We have desensitizing tooth paste available in the studio for you to take home.

Avoid staining foods and drinks, smoking/vaping, tinted toothpaste/mouthwash, and stick to light “white diet” foods. Use a soft bristled tooth brush (included in self care complimentary take home kit).

With good habits, results last 3–6 months. Maintenance sessions are recommended every 6–12 months.

Fillings, veneers, crowns, and bonding do not whiten, but many clients choose to whiten first and update their restorations to match.

Yes. Whitening works best on clean enamel. A dental cleaning within the last 12 months is required.

Teeth whitening is recommended only for clients who meet the basic eligibility requirements, including not being pregnant or breastfeeding. It’s also not suitable for anyone with active cavities on front teeth, as this can be unsafe.

A consultation is included and takes about 15 minutes during the appointment. It involves a visual assessment of the client’s current oral condition, evaluating the existing shade, discussing the desired shade, and reviewing goals before starting the service.
Clients also have the option to book a standalone in person consultation at no cost (15 minutes).
